Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Portal account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

Gifts to the community foundation are worth more in March

MINNEAPOLIS, Kan.—The Ottawa County Community Foundation could earn additional dollars for the charitable grants in the community through a county-wide Match Month gift campaign. Throughout the month of March, the Dane G. Hansen Foundation will match all public gifts to the Ottawa County Impact Fund at the Ottawa County Community Foundation, up to $50,000. Every dollar donated will be matched with $1.50. The Ottawa County Impact Fund is an unrestricted community grant fund created by individuals who have contributed money to the Foundation for charitable uses to address the present and future needs of Ottawa County. Community foundation accepting spring grant applications MINNEAPOLIS, Kan.—The Ottawa County Community Foundation is accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications open February 1 and are due Thursday, April 1, 2021.   This year, over $58,000 in grants is available to charitable projects in Ottawa County.
